WHAT TO FIND ON-SITE TO ENHANCE YOUR STAY

The Herston Log Cabins are well supported with extensive on-site facilities including a Shop, Bar and Children’s Play Area.

Our on-site bar serves real ale and offers comfortable surroundings. If you want to unwind with just a coffee or have a tailor made cocktail this is the place for you. Friendly bar staff are there to cater to your every whim, with nothing too much trouble. Just sit back and relax in front of the log burning fire and sip your tipple of choice, knowing that your evening meal is being prepared by our experienced chefs, or watch HD TV from the comfort of a leather armchair.

There is a large selection of lager and real ales for you to enjoy as well as popular spirits and wines for the discerning palette. But don’t forget the kids! We have an extensive children’s menu and a large selection of non alcoholic drinks available and, immediately behind the bar is our children’s play park, including swings, slides and a ball pond. And you can watch them having fun from the comfort of our newly refurbished conservatory.

  • The Old Mess Room

  • In the evening the bar really comes alive – a vibrant atmosphere with holiday makers and locals – so the banter is lively!

    During the summer months the bar is open all day from 9.00 am and serves an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a take away service in the evenings. On Sundays we uphold the great British tradition of an extensive carvery, with at least three different roasts, a good selection of vegetables, together with our homemade Yorkshire puddings; Not to be missed!

  • The Show Bar

  • This is where most of our entertainment program takes place.

    With a stage and dance floor, custom sound & lighting system, this is the place to be until the wee small hours of the morning.

    Enjoy Karaoke or local bands and discos, we provide a wide variety of entertainment throughout the season to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

    Our Show bar is also available for private functions, please contact our events manager for further details.

  • The Shop

  • Our on site shop carries most of the day to day essentials you may need, from fresh milk to your daily newspaper.

    Ian has a cheery smile and good morning for everyone and is also a mine of information for activities, places to go and any information about the local area.
